The Lahore Allama Iqbal International Airport terminal building will now be open to incoming travellers’ friends and family members, per a decision made by the government.
The news was made by Federal Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafiq during a late-night visit to Lahore Airport, where he also announced that the restriction of one passenger to one person upon arrival at the airport is also being relaxed.
He said that a third queue had been established at the checkpoint for the convenience of the public.He also said that from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the domestic lounge will serve as the international lounge.
