352 new COVID cases were reported in Pakistan in the past day

According to data released Wednesday morning by the National Institute of Health, Islamabad (NIH), 352 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Pakistan in the past 24 hours, along with a modest increase in the positive ratio across the entire nation.

According to the most recent figures, the national COVID governing agency performed diagnostic tests on 13,325 samples before identifying the new infections. The nation now has 1,560,602 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020 as a result of the new cases. The coronavirus positive rate, however, increased from yesterday’s 2.53% to today’s 2.64%.

During the last 24 hours, no deaths were reported in the nation. Three individuals passed away from the illness on August 8 and their deaths were the last coronavirus-related fatalities. However, 153 Covid-19 patients are receiving care at various hospitals across the nation’s intensive care units.
