(Wednesday).”The country is afflicted by a low-pressure system from the east, with chances of rain on the eastern and southern areas forecast from August 14 to 17,” the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) stated in a tweet on August 8.
The UAE authorities have prepared a national action plan to handle the situation in light of the forecast for heavy rain and strong winds this weekend.Along with representatives from the National Center for Meteorology, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of the Interior, NCEMA officials also attended the conference.
With forecasts for dangerous weather, all parties involved discussed strategies to ensure an effective reaction. All local and national teams are well-prepared to guarantee an appropriate and effective reaction to any dangers that may occur as a result of the condition, according to the NCEMA.
