On Friday morning, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) stated that issues with internet connectivity that Pakistan Telecommunication Company Ltd. (PTCL) had reported were due to a “issue” in data networks connecting the South and North regions.
The PTA issued a post on Twitter stating, “As reported by PTCL, issue has been reported in data networks between South and North which is causing internet connectivity issues.”PTA stated that the “issue” is being looked into without going into further detail about the nature of the issue.
The statement further mentioned that the PTA is keeping an eye on the situation and will update consumers.All around the nation, PTCL services are unavailable.This comprises private businesses’ internet subscriptions as well as those of individuals’ homes and offices overall.
