ISLAMABAD: According to the National Institute of Health’s (NIH) data, Pakistan has reported 806 new COVID-19 cases and nine deaths due to the coronavirus in the previous 24 hours.
The institution’s data revealed that a total of 20,949 COVID-19 diagnostic tests were performed over the previous 24 hours, of which 806 samples returned positive results.
The COVID-19 positive ratio increased from 2.84 percent the day before to 3.85 percent as a result of the discovery of new cases.160 COVID-19 patients are receiving care in intensive care units (ICU) at various hospitals across the nation, according to NIH data.

As the nation observes the new Islamic year, which started on Sunday, gatherings, and majalis to honour the Shuhada-e-Karbala (martyrs of Karbala) have begun (July 31).
