Nearly half of Sindhi candidates for the MDCAT 2022 failed

The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022 was administered on November 13 nationwide, and Sindh students made up roughly 48% of the failure rate.The province’s Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) test saw 22,301 candidates pass while nearly 20,152 candidates failed.

Balochistan’s candidates additionally demonstrated subpar performance, with 4,857 candidates failing the MDCAT 2022 and 4,054 passing. With 13,761 candidates failing the test and 29,764 passing, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa relatively performed better.

Only 7,615 test takers failed the exam in Punjab, where it was administered by the University of Health Science (UHS), and 66,702 people passed. Only 1,489 test takers from Islamabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) failed the exam, which was given by Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU), Islamabad.

204,259 people registered for the test, and 188,044 of them actually took it, according to the data. 140,170 candidates passed the test, while about 47,874 candidates were unsuccessful.

On November 23, the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) officially declared the MDCAT 2022 results.
