Before criticising politicians, we must first improve ourselves, says Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan, a Pakistani cricketer, wrote a heartfelt message to his followers on the occasion of the nation’s diamond jubilee, advising people to engage in some self-reflection before criticising others.

The famous wicketkeeper-batter said the following during a Twitter Space held by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB): “Instead of focusing on our prime minister, MNAs, and MPAs, we should first examine ourselves and what we are doing. We have to improve ourselves.”

He continued by saying that as a nation, Pakistanis must modify their way of life and maintain their commitment to upholding Islamic law.People must first be truthful with Pakistan before they can begin to challenge others, he insisted.

In reference to Pakistan’s T20I World Cup matchup with India, he said: “I felt nothing during our game against India because it was simply a typical game. I am speechless at the love and support the country has shown me.”

Rizwan remarked of the problems that exist within Pakistani cricket, “We keep on fighting each other over who would perform better for Pakistan and sometimes we also use some words against each other, which I cannot express here.”
