2022 Commonwealth Games: Pakistan wins eight medals

Eight medals were won by Pakistan at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, largely as a result of the five medals won by wrestlers. The most recent participant to win gold in the javelin throw is Arshad Nadeem.

At the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, Nadeem won the country’s second gold medal on August 8.During the first round of the tournament, Nadeem broke the previous record with a javelin throw of 86.81 meters.

Arshad achieved an 88-meter throw on his second attempt, shattering his own record. He then continued to dominate the list on his fourth attempt with an 85.09-meter throw.

Similar to Arshad, Nooh Dasatgir Butt set a CWG 2022 record by lifting a total of 405 kilos. For his outstanding performance on Wednesday (August 3), he was awarded a gold medal. The nation is showing a lot of love and thanks to both gold medal winners.
