KARACHI: Following an update last week that predicted at least two monsoon systems will deliver significant rainfall to Sindh once more in September, the Met office forecasts that the next 24 hours in Karachi will be partly cloudy, with the risk of drizzle in the morning and at night.
The Meteorological Department reported that the minimum temperature in Karachi today (Tuesday) was 27 degrees Celsius and that the expected high temperature will be between 32 and 34 degrees.The air’s relative humidity was 81%, according to the Met Office.
The Meteorological Department reported that southwest winds are blowing at a pace of 14 km/h.In the past, the PMD had predicted that September will bring more rain than usual to Sindh’s southeasterly regions.
According to the Met Office, above-average precipitation might make the situation in the flood-affected areas worse.Lower Sindh may experience moderate to severe flooding as a result of the rain.
Northeastern Punjab, including Sialkot, Narowal, and Lahore, had also been expected to receive more rain than usual, according to the Met office. These locations may receive 10 to 15 percent more rain.For September, the Meteorological Department will issue its typical rainfall advisory.
