The Netflix cartoon series Sonic Prime debuts in December

On December 15, the popular video game character Sonic the Hedgehog’s animated series will debut on the dominant streaming service Netflix.During Netflix’s livestream show Geeked, the new Sonic Prime teaser debuted, giving viewers a sneak preview of the upcoming series and its cast.

The programme will follow Sonic the Hedgehog on a “action-packed adventure” with Deven Mack serving as the voice of the character. The ensemble will also include Ian Hanlin as Shadow and Big Cat, Ashleigh Ball as Tails, Shannon Chan-Kent as Amy Rose, Adam Nurada as Knuckles, and Ashleigh Ball as Amy Rose.

In Sonic Prime, Sonic will have a run-in with Dr. Eggman, which will spark off a series of dramatic events. Sonic will then have to race through the Shatterverse to save his buddies. The story is described as “an incredible adventure of a lifetime” by Netflix.

A premature revelation in 2020 when Netflix had promised a 24-episode season led to the series’ February 2022 announcement.Sonic would embark on a “journey of self-discovery and atonement,” according to the streaming service. The series was created by Man of Action Entertainment and the Vancouver studio of WildBrain and is targeted at children between the ages of 6 and 11.
