Sheikh Rashid: The long march will be legal and peaceful

RAWALPINDI: Sheikh Rashid, the leader of the Awami Muslim League of Pakistan (AMLP), stated on Thursday that the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) also rejected the government’s request to end the protracted march. He declared on Twitter that the government has lost its senses and that the long march hasn’t yet begun. Sheikh Rashid declared that the peaceful nature of the long march will be upheld by law and the constitution, and that any attempt by the administration to create disorder would be met with a swift end.In a subsequent tweet, he asserted that the image of him making the rounds on social media is from the time he contracted Covid-19, that he is well, and that he differs from former leaders Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, who fled the nation after they were out of office.

He continued by announcing that he is now in Lahore and would hold a news conference at 5:00. He continued by saying that he will join the long march on Friday and that Rawalpindi would host a historic welcome to the long march.
