This week, both renowned American musician DJ Khaled and former professional boxer Mike Tyson were spotted performing Umrah in Makkah. The latter posted an Instagram photo of their visit along with a sentimental comment.
“Tears started to fall from my eyes as soon as I entered Mecca. tears of delight I have desired to visit Mecca my entire life in order to pray and express appreciation to Allah. I prayed for greater love, life, peace, joy, health, and safety for all of us in the globe “The celebrated singer wrote.
Khaled further said that Mike Tyson, who purportedly converted to Islam in 1992, was there at the pilgrimage site in another Instagram picture.
“We are travelling to Makkah. Bless both my brother Mike Tyson’s father and himself. More life, more love, more blessings for everyone “Tyson and his father are shown in the photo standing near to the performer while wearing an ehraam. Khaled captioned the image.
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was sighted in Makkah earlier this month conducting the Umrah. Videos of him donning a face mask, rida, and izar went viral.
Additionally confirming his attendance on Twitter was Saudi journalist Saud Hafiz: “Today in Mecca, Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan completed the Umrah. Ameen. May Allah SWT accept his umrah.”
