I was taken to an unnamed location to be filmed: Azam Swati

BHC provides new orders to dismiss all charges brought against Azam Swati

Senator Azam Khan Swati, the leader of the PTI, claimed on Tuesday that he was driven to an unidentified location where he was filmed. Swati praised Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial for checking into his arrest by the Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) in a case involving “controversial” tweets during a press conference in the nation’s capital.

The PTI leader brought up FIA’s detention last month in an effort to get the Supreme Court to take notice of the situation. After filing a case against him over tweets critical of the army chief, the senator was arrested on October 13 by the FIA’s Cybercrime Wing (CCW) at his residence in Islamabad. He was last week, however, given post-arrest bail in exchange for surety bonds totaling Rs. 1 million.

Swati claimed that during the search, costly items were taken from his home. I wouldn’t care if they kill me, but they defiled my honour, he continued. The PTI leader requested that the Supreme Court seize the CCTV equipment surrounding his home. In order for the court to know how many persons entered his house, he suggested that they should be sent for forensics.

He continued by saying that the CCTV cameras have recorded half of the evidence in his case.Along with the backups, they also seized CCTV cameras, he continued. Rana Sanaullah, the interior minister, is a proven liar and criminal, according to Azam Swati. He responded, “You will reap as you sow.”
