234 people have now died as a result of the Balochistan rains

According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority, four additional individuals have perished in rain- and flood-related incidents in Balochistan over the past 24 hours (PDMA).The PDMA Balochistan reported that since June 1 there have been 234 fatalities in the rain-devastated province. 110 men, 55 women, and 69 kids are among the dead.

According to the report, these fatalities happened in the following locations: Bolan, Quetta, Zhob, Dukki, Khuzdar, Kohlu, Kech, Mastung, Harnai, Qila Saifullah, and Sibi. The majority of deaths occurred in Quetta. In the province capital and Lasbela, a total of at least 27 fatalities occurred. In Pishin, there were 17 reported fatalities.According to the PDMA data, 98 persons were hurt in various accidents across the province when it rained.

There are 32 children, 11 women, and 55 males among the injured.In the province, a total of 27,747 homes were damaged as a result of torrential rain and subsequent flash floods. Meanwhile, flash floods caused the loss of nearly 107,377 animals.

Additionally, the flash floods in the province destroyed a number of standing crops.In order to deal with the aftermath of severe rains that caused major floods and more than 900 fatalities, Pakistan has pleaded with the world community and donors for assistance with relief efforts.
