The former US president, who is now dealing with a number of legal issues, said he would testify on Wednesday in a New York probe into the financial dealings of his family by the state’s attorney general. Letitia James, the attorney general for the state of New York, is looking into potential civil fraud by the Trump Organization.
Donald Trump Jr. and Ivanka Trump, two of Trump’s grown children, have consented to testify. Trump has claimed that the New York inquiry is politically motivated and denied any misconduct.
