The Islamabad government imposes restrictions on PTI's ability to hold a rally

ISLAMABAD: A four-page letter outlining the terms and conditions for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demonstration in the nation’s capital has been produced by the Islamabad administration.

The terms and conditions state that PTI Chairman Imran Khan will sign the affidavit, the authorization for the rally will be granted for one day, loudspeaker use is restricted, no firearms are permitted, and religious comments are to be avoided during the gathering.

No national or party flags will be burned during the protest or march, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the administration, which will permit the 12 persons present on the rally’s stage.

Earlier, The Islamabad police had earlier on Wednesday requested that the interior ministry send out armed personnel to combat the PTI’s “armed followers” during the long march through Islamabad.
