India is seeing protests, and Rahul Gandhi claims that democracy is dying there

India’s Congress Party is protesting the rising cost of living and unemployment all around the nation. A number of Congress leaders protested by appearing in public while donning black shirts, kurtas, and bands on their sleeves.

According to Rahul Gandhi, democracy was perishing in the nation. India, he continued, had become a dictatorship. Rahul Gandhi, the former party president, claimed that “everyone who opposes this idea of the onset of tyranny is violently attacked, detained, arrested, and beaten up.”

Shashi Tharoor, Rahul, and Priyanka Gandhi, all members of the Indian National Congress, were detained in New Delhi. Congressmen organized demonstrations in each state’s capital. Congress MPs and a few other opposition party members on Friday protested loudly inside the Lok Sabha.
