ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry presented names for a commission to investigate the entire Shahbaz Gill case, which has caused a stir in the nation since his detention last week. The choices came from both his own party and from partner parties.
Fawad suggested in a tweet that a committee be formed to look into Gill’s “treatment” and include Federal Railways and Aviation Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, PPP leader Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, and PTI leader Dr. Shireen Mazari.
According to the PTI leader, these three politicians ought to be in charge of the panel that looks into Gill’s alleged abuse and prosecutes those responsible.Since Imran Khan’s PTI chairman Gill’s arrest on August 9, the federal and Punjab governments have been at odds.
The PTI leader was transported to the PIMS hospital in Islamabad after it was claimed that his health had declined while he was being held in Adiala Jail. He is currently receiving treatment there. In accordance with the court’s orders, Gill will stay at the medical centre until Monday.
Imran Khan, a former prime minister, attempted to see Gill yesterday, but the police barred entrance. Khan then organised protests in every state in favour of his chief of staff.
