Before England Series, Rashid Latif coaches Rizwan and Sarfaraz

Before the Test series, former wicket-keeper Rashid Latif joined the national team’s training session in Rawalpindi to share his experience with Mohammad Rizwan and Sarfaraz Ahmad.

“Learning from the finest in the business,” the Pakistan Cricket Board remarked with a video it released on Twitter. Rashid Latif, a former captain, joined us for the training session and offered his insightful advice.

The Ben Stokes-led team and the Pakistan cricket team are presently preparing for the first Test match of the historic series, which will begin on December 1 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The former skipper is seen in the film talking to the country’s wicketkeepers about his experiences. It is important to note that the 18-man squad for the historic series now includes former captain Sarfaraz Ahmad thanks to a decision by the national selection committee.

Having last visited Pakistan in 2005, when the home team won the series 2-0, England will be playing red-ball cricket there for the first time in 17 years.
