After a lot of rain, the flood situation in Sindh gets worse

The situation has gotten worse since Sindh’s daily routine was disrupted by flash floods brought on by relentless rain. From Sukkur to Hyderabad, the entire province is covered in damage brought on by flash floods, especially in rural areas.

Tando Allahyar, Sanghar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Mirpurkhas, and Badin are among the places that experienced light, moderate, and heavy rainfall. Recent showers caused the collapse of more than 400 mud homes. Villages that were flooded by rain caused more than 10,000 people to be displaced.

In Tando Jam, low-lying areas were submerged by heavy rain, and buffaloes drowned to the necks in accumulated rainwater. Hyderabad, which has been surrounded by water due to rain for several days, has received 101 millimetres of rain in the past 24 hours.Localities in Nawabshah were inundated by water from neighbouring canals, trapping individuals inside their homes. Due to the intense rain, the Nawabshah airport has also been shut down.

It’s also a poor scenario in Kandiaro. More than 400 homes have been impacted by the Pano Aqil canal breach, which has grown to a width of 300 feet and submerged thousands of acres of land.

The roof of a part of the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Sukkur collapsed. Even after a week, a number of streets, roads, and communities are still flooded with precipitation. For travel, people utilise boats.
