All model schools and colleges in Islamabad will be closed for the winter, according to the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE).
All model schools and colleges for boys and girls in urban and rural parts of Islamabad will be closed from Monday, December 26, to Saturday, December 31, per the official notification.
It is important to note that the FDE has only formally announced six days of vacation. Students get eight days to make the most of the winter season, though, when you add the two Sundays on either side of the break.
The letter said that classes will resume on Monday, January 2, and that non-teaching and teaching personnel should remain on site in case they were given any tasks or responsibilities because of the Local Government (LG) elections.
Balochistan’s School Education Department (SED) announced extensive winter breaks for the province’s public and private schools earlier this week.
All public and private schools in winter zone districts will take long winter breaks from 16 December 2022 to 28 February 2023.
