Initial examinations have revealed that one of the main causes is malfunctioning battery cells and battery modules.In the southern city of Secunderabad, the most recent fire started late on Monday in a hotel basement holding the showroom with about two dozen electric scooters, according to the police.
Electric scooter were parked where the fire began, according to Chandana Deepti of the municipal police.”That is still being established. We don’t know if it started because of overcharging and then spread or if it started somewhere else.”It was not immediately obvious who the dealer was or what brand of scooters were being sold.
As smoke billowed out of the building’s windows, police and firefighters utilised cranes and other tools to rescue stranded hotel guests from the top stories.
