Elites in Europe don’t care about Ronaldo

Ronaldo would have expected a plethora of elite teams to compete for his signature.

LONDON: As failing to provoke the anticipated rush for his signing, Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is unknown after the Manchester United forward tried to force his way out of Old Trafford.

The Portuguese superstar stunned United earlier this month when he made a startling desire to leave the club after the team missed out on Champions League qualification. Ronaldo would have expected a plethora of elite teams to compete for his signature.

But due to Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and Paris Saint-Germain all appearing to have turned their backs on the forward, for the first time in his sparkling career he is no longer a must-have item for Europe’s wealthy elite.

The 37-year-old Ronaldo is in a precarious situation due to worries about his waning productivity and his infamously demanding nature.
