Karachi residents experience more load shedding

Due to the city’s primary power provider’s failure to meet the city’s electricity consumption needs, Karachi is once again experiencing extended periods of unexpected power outages during hot weather.

In the port city, K-Electric has once more started to do surprise load shedding. Unannounced load shedding will occur in several parts of the city for six hours, including Federal B. Area.

There are power outages in a number of places, even those exempt from load shedding, such as North Karachi, Liaquatabad, North Nazimabad, Nazimabad, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Korangi, and Clifton.

When contacted, the power utility reaffirmed its frequently stated position, claiming neither the length of the city’s power outages nor the load-shedding timetable had changed.

The first unit of K-Bin Electric’s Qasim Power Station 3 (BQPS-III) is currently offline due to a malfunction discovered during a test, the KE reported earlier this week. However, it stated that there would be no more load shedding.
