LAHORE: On Sunday, the Expo Centre will host the University of Central Punjab’s (UCP) 25th convocation.
On the first day of the convocation, retired Justice Nasira Iqbal served as the chief guest while Professor Sohail Afzal served as the guest of honour. Additionally present were Deans of the faculties and Pro-Rector Prof. Nasr Ikram.
At the convocation, up to 2,176 graduates—1,076 of whom got their degrees on the first day—will receive degrees and 149 medals. Undergraduates could receive up to 37 medals and 879 degrees, postgraduates could receive up to 29 medals and 194 degrees, and PhD candidates could receive up to three degrees.
