The women were compelled to work in Afghanistan during Taliban rule

HERAT AFGHANISTAN : Since taking power a year ago, the Taliban have forced Afghan women out of society by placing strangling limitations on their ability to work, travel, and dress.

There is rarely a woman in the nation who has not experienced the loss of a male relative in one or more conflicts, and many of their husbands, dads, sons, and brothers have also experienced the loss of their employment or money due to a worsening economic crisis.

The 40-year-old baker Shapari said, “My job has made me joyful during these difficult times.”My husband is unemployed and resides at home. I have no trouble getting meals for my kids.”

Most government jobs have remained off-limits to women, or they have had their pay cut and been forced to stay at home. They are frequently the first fired from failing private companies, especially those unable to separate the workplace in accordance with Taliban regulations.
