Ranbir Kapoor, an actor, finally spoke out about the reasons why Shamshera failed to draw audiences to the theatres.

The Rockstar star was recently questioned by the media about the film’s abject failure.

The actor claimed that the film’s weak content was the reason it failed to succeed.

Sanjay Dutt had previously spoken out about the box office failure of the movie. He bemoaned the fact that the movie had received criticism from those “who didn’t even view it.”

The Agneepath actor sent a lengthy letter in which he praised Ranbir’s acting talent and defended the movie.

“Shamshera will eventually find its tribe, but in the meantime, I stand firmly behind the movie, the memories we made together our friendship, and the giggles we had. the difficulties we faced I’d want to thank the whole cast and crew of the movie who stuck with it for four years. Through the pandemic and my own difficult personal experiences.

The actor continued, “With this movie, Ranbir and I have developed a lifelong friendship. His skill and capacity to convey emotion on screen are unsurpassed. It hurts to see how eager certain people were to criticize the work of one of the most gifted and dedicated performers of our day.

Shamshera, starring Ranbir Kapoor, debuted to negative reviews from both reviewers and audiences. Despite having a total budget of INR 150 crore, the movie only grossed INR 60 crore in box office receipts.
