BIRMINGHAM: The Commonwealth Games anti-doping committee has collected blood samples from a few Pakistani competitors for testing. The results of the tests are anticipated in 20 days.

Hockey players Abdul Manan and Ghazanfar Ali, weightlifters Haider Ali, Nooh Dastgir Butt, and Hanzala Dastgir, swimmers Haseeb Tariq, Bisma Khan, and Jehanara Nabi, judoka Shah Hussain, and para-athlete Anila Izzat Baig all had their samples taken.

The test results would be available in 15 to 20 days, according to Dr. Asad Abbas, the head doctor of the national contingent. According to prior reports, samples were obtained from two hockey players, swimmer Haseeb, and Anila as soon as they arrived in Birmingham.
