There has been a modest drop in COVID-19 cases in Pakistan

The NIH reports that out of the 19,236 diagnostic tests that were performed during the past 24 hours, 605 had good results.In the meantime, the virus claimed the lives of three additional COVID-19 patients.The number of COVID-19 fatalities increased by three, bringing the total since the pandemic’s inception to 30,486.

According to the NIH, 176 COVID-19 patients are receiving treatment at various hospitals around the nation and are in severe condition.The Omicron family’s newest coronavirus variation, BA5, is responsible for substantial infection waves across the globe.

According to the most recent data from the World Health Organization, it was behind 52% of cases that had been sequenced by late June, up from 37% in one week. It is thought to be the root of about 65 percent of illnesses in the United States.
