ISLAMABAD: After more than a year of largely peaceful relations along the border, Pakistan on Saturday denounced Israel’s massacre of Palestinians in Gaza.In a surprise daylight airstrike on a tall structure in Gaza City.
Israel stated on Friday that it had initiated a special operation against the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization, killing one of its senior commanders. Health officials in the Hamas-controlled enclave said that 10 people, including a five-year-old girl, had been killed and 79 more injured as a result of Israel’s shelling.
The Israeli army calculated that its raid had claimed 15 lives. The death of 10 Palestinians in Gaza, including a five-year-old girl, was described as the latest act of Israeli terrorism by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a tweet.
“Given that it has targeted Palestinians without regard to the repercussions, Israel would have stood for impunity and savagery. Pakistan vehemently denounces the bombings by Israel.”
