Bollywood Hungama had previously reported that the release of the film would not take place immediately, but it has now been confirmed that the release has been canceled. A PTI report stated that the film’s distributors informed them of the postponement a few days ago, but no further release date has been provided. The officials also mentioned that Zee Studios, who had acquired the rights to the film, decided not to release it due to resistance from certain groups.
It has been reported that The Legend of Maula Jatt will not be released in India.
