SHARJAH: Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan says his team is attempting to be “brave and calm” for their second match against India as the bitter rivals get ready for their next Asia Cup matchup on Sunday.

On Saturday, Afghanistan will play Sri Lanka in Sharjah before the eagerly anticipated  match takes place in Dubai the following day.”There is always pressure while playing India. Even beyond of Asia, the entire world waits for it, “Rizwan told reporters on Friday after hitting an undefeated 78 against Hong Kong.

The wicketkeeper-batsman continued, “The pressure will be equally on India and us, but the result will go with whoever remains brave and keeps calm.Pakistan overcame their first loss to India, who won both of their games in Group A, by posting 193-2 and thrashing Hong Kong for just 38 in Sharjah.

Rizwan, 30, said, “I teach players, whether you play India or Hong Kong, it’s a game of bat and ball.”
