391 schools in Badin are closed by Sindh Education Department

391 primary schools in the Badin district, including Talhar, Tando Bago, and Golarchi towns, have been shut down by the Sindh Education Department as non-operational.

The decision to close such a significant number of schools, according to local education department officials, was made as a result of poor leadership and planning, as well as the carelessness of instructors who fail to show up for work and the negligence of parents who fail to send their children to school.

Director of Primary Elementary and Higher Secondary School Education for Hyderabad Region Azizullah Odho agreed to convene a public hearing on Saturday over the closure of Badin’s non-operational schools after observing the response from the general public.

The youngsters of this impoverished area don’t have access to modern educational facilities, and the subpar government-run schools are also being closed, according to renowned educationist of Badin Prof. Dr. Ismail Memon.
