According to the most recent figures, the national COVID governing agency performed diagnostic tests on 13,325 samples before identifying the new infections. The nation now has 1,560,602 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020 as a result of the new cases. The coronavirus positive rate, however, increased from yesterday’s 2.53% to today’s 2.64%.
During the last 24 hours, no deaths were reported in the nation. Three individuals passed away from the illness on August 8 and their deaths were the last coronavirus-related fatalities. However, 153 Covid-19 patients are receiving care at various hospitals across the nation’s intensive care units.
